Camping fees on the Blue Ridge Parkway are $16.00 per night at all campgrounds, except for Mt Pisgah which is $18.00 per night. The camping fee increases to $19.00 per night with reservations . In addition, a small fee is charged for advanced reservations at selected campgrounds. Crabtree Meadows
Crabtree Meadows is located at Milepost 339.5 near the Crabtree Meadows Restaurant and within fifteen miles of Mt. Mitchell State Park. Crabtree Meadows usually opens in May.

The Peaks of Otter Lodge is located twenty miles north of Roanoke, Virginia on the Blue Ridge Parkway at Milepost 86. It is the only year-round lodging on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The Peaks of Otter recreational area offers lodging, dining, trails, fishing and seasonal interpretive programs at the park amphitheatre.
