Fishing has been great this spring! All of the local streams have great water levels and good insect hatches. Look for good hatches of smaller caddis flies and stoneflies.
There have also been good numbers of larger mayflies such as Quill Gordons in size 12. Be sure to look for sulphur mayflies in size 14-16. Don’t forget about terrestrials this time of year – ants and beetles are starting to move around and fish will recognize both of these!
