The National Park Service (NPS) is extending the solicitation for the concession business opportunity to operate a “Country Store” selling locally handmade southern Appalachian arts, crafts, and foods, as well as other retail merchandise, at the Northwest Trading Post in Ashe County. The current authorized concessioner at the Northwest Trading Post (Northwest Trading Post, Inc.) has notified the NPS that they have decided not to bid on the upcoming contract.

All offers must be received by the NPS no later than 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 26, 2012, in order to be evaluated and considered for award of a concession contract.
