(Asheville, NC) — Due to the current storm clean-up contract work on the Blue Ridge Parkway, a temporary closure will be in effect between the hours of 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, from Milepost 317 at US Highway 221 near Linville Falls to Milepost 325 at Bear Den Mountain Road.
The closure will remain in effect from May 3 until May 7, 2010.
The motor road is open from:
• Milepost 0 at Rockfish Gap to Milepost 305 at US 221/Beacon Heights
• Milepost 334 at Victor Crossing to Milepost 399 at Bad Fork Valley Overlook
• Milepost 405 near NC Highway 151 to Milepost 469 at US Route 441
