Winston-Salem, NC – The Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation announced today that William Mangum is generously donating a portion of sale proceeds from the opening weekend of his upcoming Blue Ridge Inspiration Exhibit to the Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation.
His special art exhibit, Blue Ridge Inspiration, In Celebration of the Blue Ridge Parkway’s 75th Anniversary will be at his gallery in Greensboro, NC, Friday, May 21 through Saturday, Jun 12, 2010. The exhibition is the Piedmont/Triad’s only Blue Ridge Parkway 75th Anniversary Official endorsed event.
In addition, Mr. Mangum has generously created three miniature prints. The prints, Majestic Byway, Summer Cascade, and Renewed Spirits celebrate the rich beauty surrounding the Blue Ridge Parkway.
A contribution of five dollars or more will go to support the Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation and give buyers their choice of the one of these magnificent reproductions. The William Mangum Gallery is also offering a limited-time special framing offer for the print purchases.
The Blue Ridge Inspiration Art Exhibition will debut 52 original paintings. These original paintings draw inspiration from locales surrounding the Blue Ridge Parkway, in celebration of its 75th Anniversary.
In addition to the originals, the exhibition will include 20 classic limited edition prints of the mountains and a variety of small gift items including miniature prints, cards, puzzles and keepsake boxes.
Thursday, May 20th a special preview reception will be held for the Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation.
