Overlook Description
Camp Creek flows southward along with the parkway for three miles before the overlook. Camp Creek soon enters into the Linville River that flows through Linville Gorge. There is a short trail from the parking area that winds its way to the soothing sounds of Camp Creek. White pine and broadleaf trees fill the forest that was logged in the early 1900s by the Camp brothers of Chicago.
