Overlook Description

Sim's Pond is the first stop after you enter Julian Price Memorial Park. The overlook offers a great spot to stop and enjoy a bit of trout fishing. This pond is stocked by North Carolina Hatcheries. The pond is also a stop along the Green Knob Trail which originates from the nearby Sim's Creek Overlook. Hike just a few hundred feet North on this trail and you will see the remnants of an old mill pond.
