Overlook Description
This is another of the more popular overlooks along the Blue Ridge Parkway. There is a good parking area available, and many people love to step out on Raven Rock for a picnic. Just as Thunder Hill Overlook provides one of the best sunrises, it is said that Raven Rock provides one of the best sunsets. This is a perfect stop for the romantic in all of us to gaze at the inspiring spectrum of color as the sun sets behind Tweetsie Railroad. This is also a popular spot for rock climbers.
