Overlook Description
To the left of the overlook is a slender band of gray rock with a small waterfall flowing over it to the bottom of the slope. Betsey's Rock is a ledge below the top of the falls. Aunt Betsy Pierce lived there during the Civil War with her two children. She made her living by gathering ginseng and other herbs to sell.
