Overlook Description
The crest of High Piney Spur seen from this overlook was well known by people in the area. Many men, and sometimes their wives and children, would come here for the foxhunt. Often they were not too concerned with actually catching the fox; they enjoyed the chase and listening to the sound of their dogs trailing the fox. There are picnic tables and a relaxing 0.2-mile trail to a beautiful view of the countryside.
