Overlook Description

The unusual outline of Pilot Mountain is carved from an outcrop of quartzite. The distinctive profile can resemble many forms in one's mind. Some may see an island or an impassable fortress on top of the mountain. Native American's call Pilot Mountain the Great Guide.
