Overlook Description

Amos B. Shortt lived in the area and trapped animals for the pelts. By selling and trading the pelts, he would make a fairly good income for himself. He would carry a bag, a cane and .22 revolver while out checking his trap line. The gun was only used if necessary because it could damage the pelt of an animal.
