The Folk Art Center is an extensive building containing exhibits, a visitor center that provides information about the center and the Parkway, library for study and research and an auditorium for presentations. There is a variety of crafts, jewelry and art in the sales area. The center is the location of the Southern Highlands Handicraft Guild.

You may walk through the Folk Art Center Visitor Center by clicking on the "hot spots" in the movie. While spinning the panoramas, looking around the room, your cursor will change into a large arrow pointing up. This specifies a "hot spot". Click the movie when this appears and you will be "virtually" walking through the building.
