So, you’ve taken the kids to the theme park, the beach, the lake, the movies, and the mall. What else is there to do? And doesn’t somebody have something for families that’s fun and educational, too? You bet! Grab the family and come on out to the D-Day Memorial for Family Day! Join us for a day of programs, activities, displays, and more. Dress up in 1940s fashion, check out vintage vehicles, & get your hands dirty in the Victory Garden. Talk with a veteran, or stop by the Red Cross booth to write to an overseas soldier. Visit with 29th Division Association living historians & stop by the amateur radio station. Authors will be on hand signing books and the 1/6 Scale Expeditionary Force will set up the biggest D-Day model display you’ve ever seen! Food will be available on site.
