Enjoy a relaxing day hiking and traveling the Blue Ridge Parkway. This trip will take you to Mt. Mitchell, the highest elevation in eastern North America, stopping along the way at Balsam Gap Overlook to walk part of the Bigg Butt trail. Along this journey you will see plants, trees and birds of all species. Location Information Location: Skyland, NC
