Honoring Ernest V. (Pop) Stoneman– While musicians from Galax, Fries, and Carroll, Grayson and Surry counties, literally invented the country music business, this year Mr. Stoneman becomes the first local musician to be installed in Nashville’s Country Music Hall of Fame.
