Each one is full of helpful information to help make your adventure that much easier and special.

Southern Highland Craft Guild
The Folk Art Center is home to the Southern Highland Craft Guild and showcases the finest in traditional and contemporary crafts of the Southern Appalachians.We have over 900 member craftspeople from a nine state region producing objects for show. Our center has an Eastern National bookstore, a Blue Ridge Parkway information desk, three Galleries, a Library and a Allanstand Craft Shop. Beginning in March each year, visitors can see live craft demonstrations daily.Free admission and free parking.

Mystery Hill is a family oriented entertainment complex devoted to enriching the lives of young & old alike. Our four attractions allow time for fun & games and also offer a historical view of Native American artifacts & life throughout the Appalachian Mountains from the 19th century. We offer a day of fun since you can visit the Hall of Mystery,The Appalachian Heritage Museum,The Native American Artifacts Museum,and our great gift shop.Be sure to have an old time photograph taken of your visit.

Moses H Cone Memorial Park

(Milepost 293) As one of the most prevalent historic attractions on the Blue Ridge Parkway, The Moses H. Cone Memorial Park is "historic splendor at its finest." For this beautiful country estate we owe our gratitude to Moses H. Cone, a prosperous textile entrepreneur, conservationist, and philanthropist of the Gilded Age. The centerpiece is Flat Top Manor, a gleaming white 23-room, 13,000 square foot mansion.

(Milepost 305) Grandfather Mountain is the highest peak in the Blue Ridge mountain range and a globally recognized nature preserve. The Mile High Swinging Bridge gives visitors breathtaking views from Linville Peak.
