Banner ads are located on the right-hand navigational area on the Virtual Blue Ridge site. They also rotate on the left-hand navigational area on the Blue Ridge Parkway Blog site.

These banner ads are an IAB (Internet Advertising Board) standard size of 125px by 125px. The file size must be smaller than 10 Kb. Animations are not accepted, as we only allow static images. Up to 3 images may be submitted and included to be rotated randomly. We accept GIF, JPG, PNG & TIFF formats, but the image will be converted to a GIF or JPG before being published on our site. All ads should be emailed to info@virtualblueridge.com and will be posted to our site within 48 business hours of receipt of payment from PayPal (see below).

The banner ads on Virtual Blue Ridge are $40/mo and we offer a significantly discounted trial period and a yearly renewal option for additional savings. Paypal is the preferred method of payment for Virtual Blue RIdge banner ads, but we can also accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover by phone (828.265.4823).

Virtual Blue Ridge content listings are the most strategic form of advertising on our web site. The content ads are placed within the content area of your choice among our "Things to Do", "Places to Stay" and "Places to Eat" sections of our web site. Our content listings come in one of 2 forms: Enhanced and Basic.

Enhanced Listings:

• are listed in order by proximity to closest Parkway Milepost and grouped by State (Virginia and North Carolina)
• include up to 500 characters of text, 1 photograph, a link to your website, and basic contact information
• appear above all basic listings
• are clicked on 4x more often than basic listings
• cost $150/yr (buy now)

Basic Listings:

• are listed in alphabetical order below all enhanced listings for each state
• include the name of your business linked to your web site and basic contact information
• cost $50/yr (buy now)
