Uses

Heal All leaves can be eaten raw or cooked in salads, soups, stews, etc. It is somewhat bitter due to tannin, although this can be removed by washing the leaves. A cold water infusion of freshly chopped or dried and powdered leaves is commonly prepared as a very tasty beverage. It also produces an olive-green dye from the flowers and stems. Heal All also makes for good ground-cover in sunny locations or in light shade.
