The mountains and foothills of the Blue Ridge region are home to thousands of craftspeople, skilled in everything from pottery and glassblowing to woodworking, quilting, jewelry-making, and painting. The Parkway’s spirit of historical preservation, coupled with the abundance of creativity and the artistic expression that the mountains can inspire, allow traditional and contemporary crafts to flourish side by side.
