Comment: Map from the Federal Highway Administration showing the 2 closed Parkway sections due to land slides. There is an 8 mile closed section from Mile Post 317 to 325 and an 11 mile closed section from Mile Post 344 to 355. There is only 19 miles out of 469 miles of the Parkway closed. There are easy detour routes to get around the 2 closed portions of the Parkway. All Parkway events and visitor centers are open. The Fall color is as beautiful as ever!
