Adjacent Parks and Forests to the Blue Ridge Parkway

The Blue Ridge Parkway is a long, linear park that was established as a recreational connecting road between Shenandoah and Great Smoky Mountains National Parks. It also travels through four U.S. Forest Service areas and closeby to several other national park areas. Take time to visit these sites on your travels and also be aware that regulations may vary depending on the area you are in.
