Firework Displays from the Blue Ridge Parkway

Night time on the Blue Ridge Parkway may not be the best time to view it's stunning scenery, except for once a year --- July 4.
With the prospect of good weather, the Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation is challenging Parkway and photography aficionados to bring out their telephoto lenses to record the best firework displays in the communities below them.
Jean Dixon, of Waynesville said, "I didn't know that you could see so many firework displays at the same time."
All participants will receive an appropriate memento for their participation.
