Blue Ridge Parkway 2009 Youth Volunteer Events

June 15, 2009

(Spruce Pine, NC) We’re looking for volunteer opportunities for young people that are educational and fun! Join the Blue Ridge Parkway’s Youth Volunteers in Parks Program (YVIP) for ages 6 through 18 years of age. Through this program, young people will serve as actual National Park Service volunteers performing a variety of tasks to help preserve and protect the Blue Ridge Parkway. Please join us for any or all of the following events for the 2009 YVIP season:

• July 7, 2009 – YVIP Maintenance Day
