4th ANNUAL Tour de Tuck
Sep 19, 2009
Jackson County invites riders from across the region to the 4th Annual Tour de Tuck Bike Challenge. We believe this will be one the most beautiful and toughest rides you will find. The event is named for the Tuckasegee River, which riders will see in the beginning and end of the ride, as it meanders through our scenic county.
The 105-mile ride has approximately 11,000 feet of elevation gain with a vertical mile between the high and low points on the route. Over 40 of these miles are on the Blue Ridge Parkway, giving us the distinction of having the most Parkway miles of any organized ride in the Appalachians.
Location Information Milepost: 445
Location: Mark Watson Park, Sylva, North Carolina
Time: Schedule on website
Cost: $45 - $55 to enter the race
