Weekend Activities at Mabry Mill

Daily 9:00 - 5:00 / Demonstrations of Early 20th Century Blue Ridge Life. Experience a variety of traditional Appalachian crafts which may include spinning, weaving, basket making, chair bottoming, and/or blacksmithing.
Friday, Saturday, Sunday at 11:00, 1:00, and 3:00. Mill Talk and Grinding Demonstration. Listen to a brief ranger talk about Ed & Lizzie Mabry and see how corn was ground.
Sunday, 2:00-4:00. Traditional Music and Flatfooting. Enjoy traditional music and join the crowd of dancers flatfooting. Location Information Milepost: 176
