Celebration of the Life of Carl Sandburg

A special presentation will be held at the Carl Sandburg Home Amphitheater, with invited guest speakers including National Park Service Southeast Associate Regional Director Paul Hartwig and poet Glenis Redmond. Local writers and artists will be on site throughout the afternoon to share works that were inspired by Carl Sandburg, his family and home. A guided tour of the home and dairy goat barn is also available for $5.
