Tall Meadow-Rue can be described as a perennial forb or herb native to the United States. Its most active growth period is in the spring and summer. Tall Meadow-Rue has green foliage with conspicuous flowers and fruits. The best bloom is usually observed in the summer. Fruit and seed production begin in the summer and continue into fall. Leaves on this plant are not retained from year to year. Relative to most other plant species, Tall Meadow-Rue has a moderate lifespan and growth rate. When mature, this plant typically will reach up to 3.3 feet high at 20 years.
