What is a Go Card?
 

SEASONAL. Join Wildwater, the most experienced rafting company in the Southeast, offering great fun and memories for families & friends. Since 1971, Wildwater has been a family business. Three generations continue to work and run the business today along with over 200 of the finest guides and outdoor service leaders you could possibly find. Join Wildwater’s popular Follow-A-Guide experience on the Nantahala River. Bounce, splash, and laugh your way down 8 exciting miles of introductory whitewater with guides to train and assist with your adventure. If you want a guaranteed personal guide in your raft you can easily upgrade to the Fully-Guided option for $5/per person. If you want more of a challenge or an independent experience, you have the option of a single or double inflatable boat called “duckies”. So get wet and make some memories with Wildwater Rafting!

Note: Reservations on all services are required. Must present your valid Go Blue Ridge Card at check-in counter prior to trip start. Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled trip. Picnic facilities are available. Blackout Dates are July–August on Saturdays. Minimum requirement is 7 years old or 60 lbs.

Go Blue Ridge Card is valid for your choice of one Wildwater Rafting Trip or one Smoky Mountain Jet Boat Ride per day.

Upgrading is available to the Raft & Rail Excursion for a $45 fee. Go Blue Ridge Card must be valid at time of service.

Hours:
April–October: Daily; Reservations for trip time required. Trips are run and fun, rain or shine! Not valid on Saturdays in July or August.

Directions:

  • From I-40 take Exit 27 onto Hwy 74 West. Remain on Hwy 74 past Bryson City. Take left fork (Hwy 74) Wildwater is on the left approximately 1 mile past Nantahala Village and just past Falling Waters Adventure Resort. From the West take Hwy 74 East through the Nantahala River gorge. Continue approximately 3 miles. Wildwater is on the right just past Nantahala Rental Cabins.
