SEASONAL. Loafers Glory Rafting & Tubing offers you the best in river recreation. Located in historic Loafers Glory, NC, the company is close to Little Switzerland, Spruce Pine, and Burnsville and is only an hour’s drive from Boone and Asheville. Included is a float down a lazy river in a tube, but you can upgrade* to riding the rapids in a funyak or raft on the Toe and French Broad Rivers. These trips are for kids from 4 to 94! If you are looking for something extra special, ask about the overnight rafting trips.

Directions:
- From Spruce Pine: Take 226 North to Bakersville. At the flashing light, turn left and continue north on 226 2 1/2 miles. Located on the left at Loafers Glory.
- From Burnsville: Turn left on Hwy 197. Take 197 to the stop sign at Hwy. 226. Turn right and go approximately 3 1/2 miles. Located on the the right at Loafers Glory.
