While the Blue Ridge Parkway itself stays open year-round with the exception of weather-related closures, many of the facilities on the Parkway are closed through the winter.
As of tomorrow, November 1, the following Parkway facilities will be closed for the season:
- all campgrounds
- all picnic areas except Price Park Picnic Area
- the following Visitor Centers: Humpback Rocks, James River, Peaks of Otter, Rocky Knob, Linn Cove, and Linville Falls
- Mabry Mill Restaurant & Gift Shop
- Pisgah Inn & Restaurant
- Northwest Trading Post
- Price Park boat rentals
- Nature Center
- Johnson Farm
- Mabry Mill
- Brinegar Cabin
Remaining open until November 15:
- Blue Ridge Music Center, Milepost 213
- Craggy Gardens Visitor Center, Milepost 364.5
- Waterrock Knob Visitor Center, Milepost 451.2
Remaining open through the month of November:
- Peaks of Otter Lodge, Milepost 85.6

Open year-round:
